Not all Admin Asst will lose overtime. The main thing to look at for us would be that we be "salaried" which means you make a certain amount of money a week regardless of how many hours you work. Although I get paid a certain amount every two weeks, if I miss a hour of work I am docked for that hour. Which really means I am an hourly employee. You have to meet all of the "tests" to be deprived OT. Because there is no real education/degree/certification or whatever to do my job rather it is learned on the job...that also helps me. Blue collar jobs are also not affected (electricians, machinists, process technicians, capentars, etc.) The government site explains things a lot better than reading a news site alone does. Now the people in payroll and accounting that are currently covered under our Clerical Union contract are ok for now but those jobs may get reclassified at some point down the road if their pay is also changed from hourly to set salary. But unless ExxonMobil is willing to pay people who may put in a 20 hour week
