Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
He's 5'9", weighs 135 ibs, and most of that is muscle.
2. How old is he? 16
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? Stands tall, he generally looks like he's got a hell of a chip on his shoulder, but is actually a very kind person.
Brown eyes, and orange hair complete the picture of your average highschool student / shinigami daiko
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Very fit. The boy never stops training. Even when he isn't thinking of it as "training" he's always doing something that manages to turn into a fight :|
Definitely physically fit. Possibly the most ripped teenager in japan >.>;
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Depends on the fight. His shikai is huge, but in bankai he's hella fast. So much so that he ran circles around Byakuya....literally ;P
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's got that boy next door/knight in shining armor thing going on. It's canon that he's considered attractive, but Ichigo is utterly oblivious to his looks. At least in relation to how cute he is.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He's a redhead, and has the complexion to go with it, though he does manage to keep a summer tan rather than a sunburn?
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Bright orange spikes of very fluffy, soft hair. His baby sister loves it, and Ichigo hates it when she coos over how lovelly it is.
His hair is also the one thing that makes him stand out in school, and therefore, got him into fights by the time he was old enough to throw a punch.
9. What color are his eyes?
Brown, but if you look closely there's gold flecks there. Generally he has to be in the right light for them to show up.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Physically? Not so much. Most of his scars are pretty well covered.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Shoulders, definitely. And neck, but shoulders more so.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
In the Living World he dresses just like any boy his age: jeans and t-shirts. Generally he prefers lighter colors, though, and according to canon "likes wearing tight clothes above, and below."
I'm guessing this means he likes tight fit jeans, and t-shirts though in the anime you see him in these ratty, holes-in-both-knees, ragged jeans all the time?
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Be it street clothes or shihakushou, he's generally comfortable in them, yep.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Eh-heh, well since "on the job" would mean taking care of his shinigami duties, then no. In shinigami form, all shinigami wear their uniform shihakushou. Though, supposedly the state of Ichigo's bankai coat ( whether or not it's whole, or half torn off him ) reflects how much reiatsu he has left.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Normally? Boxers. In shinigami form? Fundoshi.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Here's a sample of Ichigo, Zangetsu, and Shiro
singing. Because Ichigo's speaking voice is TOTALLY different to his singing voice. Srsly.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Loud when he wants to be, but generally he's a pretty private person. He'll talk freely with his nakama only.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Once in a while he'll give out a weird knickname, but that's about all.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese, and he's actually quite fluent with English. Typing is still a bit difficult for him, but he's getting there.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
He'll switch to English should the person he's speaking to need it.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Ichigo has absolutely no brain-to-mouth censor. Whatever he's thinking generally comes flying right out of his mouth.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He's not an eloquent person, and so he doesn't try to be. Although most people tend to forget that he can know his friend's hearts just be feeling their reiatsu. He shows it really rarely, but he can actually be hugely insightful
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
A bit of a derp, but a straight A derp. Most of Ichigo's life, he was judged as being some kind of "yank" hoodlum due to his orange hair. So, he actually proved his teachers, and a lot of his peers very wrong when he came out as almost top of the class.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Impulsive to a fault, he does his best, and worst thinking on his feet.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Idealistic, definitely, but it's odd how practical he gets in most matters, too. Ichigo thinks, and reacts on instinct, and intuition. While naive in some ways, his sheer bloody-minded determination have actually made him into something of a force of change.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Highschool level, since he's still in it.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
How to be a shinigami. He's sort of stuck living a dual life, and hasn't really given a lot of thought to life after the Winter War.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert...though a loud one from time to time XD;
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Moody as hell. He's a teenager for one, and for two has to deal with the increase in instinct increased ( and paradoxically fed on ) by his inner hollow.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Depends on the situation, and the person. As a general rule he's pretty relaxed, though can come off a little stand off-ish
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight :|
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Definitely a bit dry. He's a teenager, so his maturity in humor isn't much.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
I don't know if having an inner hollow counts as Multiple Personality Disorder?
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
The death of his mother, first. Nine years old, and not only was he there to see it, she dies saving him. To say it changed him for life is an understatement.
The next is having the shinigami Kuchiki Rukia come marching through his bedroom one night. Since, that was the same night that he became a shinigami.
14. What does he fear?
Failing. He's afraid of not being able to protect those he cares for.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Simple things, really. He wants all his friends, and family to live happily, to get good grades, and really to just be able to keep being a shinigami daiko for Karakura Town.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
He still tries to hide his shinigami daiko status from most of the people he knows in Karakura, but it's not the much of a secret anymore.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Well, his mother died when he was little, and Kurosaki Isshin is....odd. Karin, one of Ichigo's little sisters, once said that fighting was the only way that Isshin, and Ichigo could bond. In a weird way it's sort of true.
Though, we've all recently found out that Kurosaki Isshin is ( or rather "Was" ) a shinigami as well, and it looks like he was once a captain. Not much is known about Isshin other than that Kurosaki is not his real name, and there's a hell of a lot that he hasn't told Ichigo about his past.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He's got two younger sisters. Twins, actually, though you'd never know it to look at them. Both are eleven, and both have a bit of that older sibling worship going on. Yuzu fusses, and worries over Ichigo consistently, and while Karin likes to pretend she isn't worried, she's just as bad.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
As far as we know there are no other blood relatives to the Kurosakis. Though I personally believe the Shibas are related to this lot somehow
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Kuchiki Rukia, definitely. She's his best friend, his assigned partner for his daiko responsibilities, and thanks to Isshin's antics, now lives at the Kurosaki Clinic whenever she's in the Living World.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Rukia. ( Please see above )
6. Does he have other close friends?
Abarai Renji. I like to think of this one as less of a rivalry ( though that is part of it ) and more like Ichigo pisses Renji off enough to make Renji act more. Like, Ichigo's antics irritate the hell out of Renji, but because of that, he's a better man for it? I dunno it's weird to describe.
Ishida Uryuu. The Quincy boy! Although, according to him, Ichigo is not his friend, these two still end up allied. At this point it's become more like " I'm Inoue-san, and Sado's friend, which is why I'm hanging out with them, and you just happen to be here Kurosaki B|"
Inoue Orihime. She's a sweetheart, and hopelessly, one-sided in love with Ichigo. Naturally he's oblivious to this adoration, but there it is.
Yasutora Sado is Ichigo's bff, man. Like, if Ichigo had a sidekick, it would be Chad ( the knickname came from Ichigo as well )
What's interesting is the fact that Chad's powers are more hollow-like than shinigami-like. Kinda like Ichigo COINCIDENCE???
In-Game
Promenade hasn't opened yet |D;
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
In canon he doesn't get close to people very easily. Mostly because Ichigo has always been sort of odd, be it prejudice about his hair, or the fact he sees ghosts. However, he does have a tendency to make friends pretty easily, even though those friends might not know very much about him.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
In Ichigo's mind, nakama = family. So that's a tough question.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Too young for it.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Unknown. Ichigo doesn't like the feeling of being out of control. To him, romance, and love feels just like that. Therefore, he pushes those feelings down, and if he does have a crush, he doesn't quite realize it, yet.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
In all honesty, Ichigo is really too young to know much of what he wants. One would assume that he'd want a person with similar interests, a good heart, and who either didn't mind Ichigo living a double life, or was a part of that life.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Too young for them lol. But, way down in his secret heart of hearts, he does want children of his own some day.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Too many to count. Hell, some of Ichigo's friends also count as his rivals!
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the
Kinsey scale?
Bisexual, and a solid 3
16. How does he feel about sex?
He'll flail, and blush horribly about the whole business. From implications, to talking about it.
How important is it to him?
He's a teenage male. You figure it out :|
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Turn-ons:
Having his neck kissed or nibbled
Having his hair played with
Being mildly bitten
Scratched hard enough to draw blood
Loli dress
Stockings
Turn-offs:
A slutty attitude
Girls who tease out of cruelty
People ( male or female ) who use their sexuality to manipulate
Weird bedroom habits:
Loudness. Like, really loud. The more fun he's having the more he tends to sound like he's being murdered instead of getting laid >.>;
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Looks like Dog ( which fits ) and Cancer ( which also fits in an odd way )
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
I'd say he's decently religious. Shinigami are a bit of a folkloric thing, but Bleach uses a lot of Shintoism's ideas.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Definitely, and he follows that code strictly. It started when Ichigo was very small, and he swore to himself that he would 'protect the person who protects me' ( his mother ) and in failing to do so ( or what he feels like is a failure ) it cemented that protector complex in pretty deep.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Depends on the beliefs, but he's a pretty tolerant person. Unless his friends, or family are being messed with, Ichigo is a pretty laid back guy.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Hollows.
Yes, I know it's odd, but Ichigo's hatred of base hollows all stems from Grand Fisher, and losing his mother. Hollows with masks, still, don't get much mercy. Ichigo is of the belief that they're going to Soul Society, anyway, so if he ends up roughing them up a little before they get there, then so be it.
However, this doesn't extend to all hollows. Nel is a prime example of Ichigo putting individuality before preconceived ideas. Likewise, Ichigo doesn't much agree with Soul Society's rules, and laws - sometimes to the point of going against them when he feels justified.
All in all it's very difficult to earn Ichigo's hatred. Dislike is easy, but the boy doesn't really 'Hate'.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Teenager, though his dad is a doctor, so I'd say upper middle class?
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
His reputation in school has gotten pretty ridiculous. Now, every punk that's looking to make a name for themselves will try to take on Kurosaki, or at the very least hassle him a bit. That, plus all his absences due to shinigami shenanigans, and Ichi's grades aren't looking so good, lately.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Generally he lives in a decently spacious apartment just above his dad's clinic. Ichigo's room has sort of become a weigh station, and storage spot for shinigami coming in, and out of the living world. Poor guy.
If not at home, then he's usually staying with the Vaizards in their warehouse. That place isn't much; a mattress, some blankets, and a couple changes of clothes is about it. He prefers home a lot more.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Manga, and pocky. There's not a huge amount of canon reference for Ichigo's favorite hobbies, though he does love to read shakespeare.
Actually, there's references to being in martial arts club at one point, so I'm not sure?
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
Shinigami Daiko, and yes. He's good at it. In fact, Ichigo sort of has become his job, poor kid.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
As I said before: Shakespeare, manga, music. He's a typical teenager in this respect, and likes to spend his free time relaxing for the most part.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Ichigo is the sort of kid that seems to forget food until you put it in front of them, and then eat like it's going out of style. Orihime's cooking, aside, Ichigo likes most things, and living at the Kurosaki Clinic assures he'll get three squares a day, plus anything else Yuzu uses him as a guinea pig for. He prefers spicy food, like curry, or chocolate. Generally chocolate more so than anything else, lol

Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite:
