I want to jump on the CSA bandwagon. Any recommendations for ones that deliver to Mountain View?

We've been pleased with Farm Fresh To You. They deliver, provide a whole variety of options, and let you build exclusion lists and so forth. Mostly, I think, through web tools.

I used Planet Organics for years in RWC, and was happy with them. We had it in Aptos too for a while, but the boxes were shipped by a third party b/c we're so remote. We ultimately canceled b/c stuff was arriving rotten. Overall though I would still give them the thumbs up, just their shipper (which they don't use on the Peninsula; they ship themselves) is not so good.

As already mentioned the website quality is important. With PO, you could say exclude onions, but then if they added "super special onions" those did not make it on the exclude list automatically. It was sort of a chore to stay on top of.

We hit the farmers market most weeks last summer.

Two Small Farms is totally awesome so long as you don't need to build exclusion lists. Personally, I love the challenge of cooking new and unusual vegetables, and I learned to really enjoy some vegetables I didn't think I liked.

I really enjoyed being a member of Live Earth Farm's CSA.
