Glad to hear there is hope! But sorry you have to go through not-fun to get there.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to get to the museum today. I did my paying work for 8+ hours and have felt sore throaty and a slight temp most of today. Decided I didn't want to go out in the rain. Will see how I feel tomorrow.

If you feel well enough to drive to SF, would you want to join me at said museum, it's the www.museemechanique.org/ ? I don't see a cost for entrance, but they are open 10-8. We could have lunch nearby or something. I have to be in the East Bay by 6pm but am otherwise available.

Blankets, earplugs. I took a nap in mine.

Yay for the possibility of real solution.

Blankets are allowed? That would probably help relax me a lot, if I can bring my own.

The surgery bit is a little daunting. It puts my dominant arm in some amount of risk. But the success rates are apparently high.

MRI tips: Pee first. Also, bring your own music.

I found it shattering, but I'm claustrophobic and have PTSD. The noise is very loud and sounded sufficiently like gunfire to really bother me.

I asked him, but he didn't know exactly. But I'm supposed to get a call from the lab itself to set the appointment time, in which case I can ask them all the questions I'd like. :)

Thinking about you this morning.
