That's definitely the case; it's hard to lose the mindset of youth being youth.
I think this especially applies to our contemporary generations, as well. How are we to see ourselves and our peers?
Are we supposed to change, or does it just happen? Is it natural? Biological? Does it come from experience?
In a way, I'm glad there's no established system to facilitate this, though. It allows for a more personal conclusion, which I would imagine lines up more with your peers', making you a part of the greater whole, who'll inevitably be the ones in the same spot down the road that we're looking at right now.
