No No! We don't want to skip the 2006 elections.

Odds are looking good that this administration is sinking and it's bound to take some of the rat-publicans with it. I think we have a good chance of changing the makeup of congress this year, which, if we're stupidly lucky, grant Bush the "lame duck" status he so richly deserves for the last two years of his term.

Ironically, when i read this this morning my first thought was to post this to my LJ. Granted, i've not done it, but that was my thought.

It's yet another instance, for me atleast, of "why am i not surprised?@!" This administration has been a nightmare. Our civil liberties are disolving like sugar in a flood, i fear for the rights of women at large now that we have two new neo-cons on the Supreme Court. And let's not even get me started on the rising body count in the Middle East thanks to Bush's oil-hunger. But i digress.

Go forth. Post.

Particularly I'd like to see people informed of the change in the article. I noticed today that my local paper printed the first article rather then the reformed article.

Not to mention that any publicity will help.

Let it go forth like a virus! Wooo!

You know. I wish it was oil hunger, but I've become more convience lately that it's worse then that.

I mean, at least oil hunger has a greater purpose of providing short term economic benifits to the country at large in the form of cheaper gas, plastics and just about everything else that makes up our industrial society.

But I don't think that's it. I begin to increasingly think that it was pure vindictiveness and spite. He had the power and the means to finish what his Daddy started and stick it to "those damn towel-heads", so he did, without really understanding or caring what the end ramifications would be. Like when a guy gets into a fight, he just starts throwing punches without thinking what's going to happen when it's over.

I think we're possibly giving him too much credit, and that he's really just a bully with power.

I thought this might draw you out of the woodwork, or, at least from behind the skirt, according to some reports... (I kid! I didn't make it either, but 1,500 miles is a long way to drive for a paintball game ( ... )
