aaaawwwwwww. i read a review of The Wind that Shakes the Barley today and i really would like to see it. but i'm on a stupid camp for one of my stupid classes on tues and will probably be maybe working saturday night. f-uu-ck.
Thank You for Smoking is pretty good, i must add, i've seen it twice.

and totally unrelated, but have you read or heard of Jennifer Government? The book? i just finished reading it and i have an inkling you may enjoy it, it's all about a 'not-too-distant-future' where there are no such things as loyalty-to-a-country, but rather loyalty-to-a-customer-loyalty-program. it's a good book, kinda 1984-ish but about massive corporations and it's really quite funny. if yo be interested let me know and i'll totally lend it to you.

hmm. The Wind that Shakes the Barley is showing on Wednesday at 11am and 1:30pm if that's easier. (i don't know how many people are interested, so maybe then would be better...)

ooh! it sounds terribly interesting, i would like to read it!
have you read any isaac asimov? is it similar?

also, have you seen the movie 'v for vendetta', it was a stylised, popular - read dummies guide - version of ripped 1984, but i liked it.

loyalty-to-a-customer-loyalty-program...hehe.

i was thinking about corporations today. how large, global corporations have more money than 90% of the countries of Europe. how microsoft and virgin, etc. can actually drastically change the political landscape by channeling enough money into various corporations for specific diseases, etc. i don't know how many people think beyond the 'bill gates donates tooooo, so does angelina jolie' side of private donations. that's all.

knowledge?

fairies.
