Brendon writes a song, just a little one. He plays it for Ryan and Ryan has to go throw up immediately after. He blames a meal he never took, and holds his hands palms down on his knees while Brendon reads him the lyrics. At his request, and Brendon reads to him -- if love is not enough --
the crowd screams louder than they ever have for “Lying” or “Sins” or “Nine”, louder than they ever have -- to put my enemies to sleep --
Ryan stands in a corner after the show, and he shakes. Two walls close beside him for protection and he shakes in a corner of the building where no one wants to see him --

Pete asks if Brendon’s planning to leave Panic and become a cowboy. He knows a guy who knows a guy who could set Brendon up.
Brendon believes him for about thirty seconds, and then he makes a face and Pete hugs him.
When Pete gets home he listens to the song -- little bit more character fo’ sho’ -- and thinks that yeah, he really doesn’t like the song.
Brendon is on a stage by himself, just by himself, no one else, no drum riser, no mics for Ryan and Jon, nothing just him and a guitar and a thousand faces turned up expectantly and he -- if I’ve forgotten how to sing before I’ve sung this songHe wakes up with a gasp and gets out of bed very quickly. This also takes place on the fictional My Chem/Panic tour! Also, I had never ever in my entire life considered Frank/Brendon before in my life but I can see now the appeal!
Frank replaces Brendon’s water with Poland’s strongest (downed in 3 seconds on an empty stomach, and Brendon trips on stage more than twice); Brendon pisses in Frank’s water bottle (swallowed on a full stomach, and the results are unforgettable); Frank replaces Brendon’s shampoo with bleach (on such an empty stomach that Brendon does not notice until he’s started on his second stack of waffles); Brendon draws rainbows on Frank’s guitar (on a full stomach, and Frank’s too happy with a real meal to notice); but Frank notices, eventually, in the middle of Panic’s set and does not wait for a time and place but slides right across stage and tackles Brendon - at first there is trouble, security tense, until Brendon shakes Frank off and the tips of his ears are pink, and he is grinning.
