speaking of ska being dead, mustard plug is doing a ska is dead tour this summer.
also!
the toasters + big d and the kids table + 2 more ska bands, on february 8th. 10 bucks, 12 at the door, i think. big d is also headlining a show on january 9th in chicago.
mmm... go check out the chicago_ska community. people usually post a bunch of shows there.
what we could really use i think, is more ska revival in the suburbs. i'm thinking maybe i should make a website for that or something. kinda like chiskago, but suburban. ehhh?
Cheer up kid, and listen to ska now.

B-Trike, hate to be an ass by posting this, but Skafest was quality, Mustard Plug owned as always, they're getting older, but definitely still doing it well. The Kingpins were pretty rockin 2nd wave ska too. But, Catch 22, Big D, Planet Smashers, and Mustard Plug Sometime in April (As Chuck Wren, chicago ska-king says) will own this skafest though, don't miss that one. (Ska is dead, and you're next tour, www.skaisdead.com)! The ska-heads now listen to hardcore or emo? well- yeah.. that doesn't mean the ska is gone from these ska-kid's lives... Yes, i'm referring to myself in with that comment. Nothing compares to a good skankin ska tune with a killer bass line complimenting a quality horn melody. Keep rockin- lemme know what's up w/ Trike, gotta hit some shows when you guys have a stable drummer, think u'll be ready by Feb- we've got some shows going and would definitely love to help you guys out (Feb 6th and 7th). Lemme know. --SKAmsa
