When they both let themselves go, giving and taking what they need... I know it sounds like I'm gushing but this story introduced me to a completely different relationship dynamic. I've never looked back.

The pairing works so incredibly well, between Ruby's sharp edges and the way Sam's addiction is woven through the entire story; how her blood is wrapped up in his need, how there's no way to separate them now. How he submits because there's nothing else he can do but want it. I confess that I initially read this for the porn - but it was the characterization that drew me in. Everyone should be running to read this.
