Song I: To Prepare
[This is actually a series of notes in a notebook Asako purchased recently. It's kept under lock and key in her dorm room.]
Necromancy
- requires substantial power, as I thought. Power of Bel definitely enough. The problem is, how to integrate it?
- Should check on Akira to make sure he's okay. If closer to passing on, need to get back to door ASAP.
- Need to study spellcrafting. Definite help here. Probably also helpful during final battle.
Demons
- Nature spirits tend to be less troublesome than higher demons/combat demons. Megami-types also def. less harmful. Fairies, mixed bag.
- Megami seem like best choice for guards, but don't know all of them. Amaterasu-omikami def. good choice; Kikuri-hime also good choice.
- Need more folklore research...
Dimensional Pathways
- Only replacement seal I can find requires sacrifice of caster in order to be effective. Needs more research, but if it's the only one available, so be it.
- If sacrifice seal, then after loved ones die. Don't want them to mourn.
- Downside: become ghost (possibly?), may need reviving upon re-entering Mall. If this happens, Akira won't take it well. Don't want.
- Nature spirits, Megami, remain behind to make sure humanity doesn't screw up again. Hostile spirits need to leave. Weird guy with the flashy suit probably should go with them; may not be human.
- ... Definitely need more research on seals! If there's another way, should go with it unless it requires deaths of others. Don't want.
