1. Ow! Sounds like things are getting pretty hot to me! You just make sure you keep me updated - no beating around the bush, okay?
2. There there, maybe Mr. Harvard will turn out to be a nice person. The fact that he's been described as a "rising" sophomore has me worried, I'll admit (who says that?) - but hey, it could turn out okay. Right? ;/
3. I thought you'd read that already! Unfortunately, I left my copy on the plane on our return flight from India and I believe there was one story that I'd not read. I loved it, though. She's so versatile.
1. Is his tongue pierced? 2. He's a douche, face it. Take pain medication before going. 3. When I met David Ryan Harris he was reading this book...he described Jhumpa as "hot, man". I also reviewed one of her books on the radio...never read it though...guess I should.
1. When do we get to meet him? 2. Harvard boy is tasty-licious. Go for it. Who knows, he could be the next bill gates! (Yay for gold digging!) p.s. he could be HOTT. 3. SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!!!! I heard some of her short stories on the radio too. and also, have you read The Namesake yet?
1. It's August. Better make your move now. Otherwise, you'll be fucking and running at the end of the month. 2. You're a rising sophomore too. And who knows, maybe this provost progeny is just as resentful about his father having a powerful academic position too. Then you'd have something in common. And God forbid he's not cute, he might actually be friend material. 3. For the first time this summer, I have to say I don't know what I'm reading right now. I feel lost in the world.
1) in case you kids hadn't noticed, it appears that both of us are too stupid to make anything happen. which is ok, i guess - the thrill of the chase is enjoyable in itself. or something.
2) i don't know, i kind of have to agree with zito on this one - the night is pretty much destined to suck. i will do my best to go in with an open mind, but i have a feeling of impending doom about the whole situation.
3) i had only read the first couple of stories, then forgot about it altogether. now i've finally picked it up again and i can't put it down. soooo good. i've read the first 1/3 of the namesake, but i stopped reading it because i thought i should read interpreter of maladies first. kind of stupid, i know, but whatever. has anyone else read it?
