Okay guys . . heres you're last chance to get something on CHRW.

As you may recall, this Tuesday is the Virtuoso Night . . . so let me know what you think the HARDEST PIECE is for your instrument or voice type, and we'll try and get it along with your name on the air!!

Peace

I've got stuff for you guys. Cecilia Bartoli sings some pretty frickin crazy shit. Don't bother trying to find it though, I'll just bring you the CD

For baritones? I can bring you some Hvorostovsky, but I was saying to Noah... it's not virtuosic in the same way as Cecilia's stuff. Are you looking for pieces that are just exceptionally technically challenging? Or do you also mean clearly virtuosic performances of more simple music? Hvorostovsky just blows you away with the richness of his voice and with (honestly) how RUSSIAN he is! Anyways, I'll give you some of his stuff to.

They sound ass-nasty, but Berio's sequenzas are pretty darn virtuosic...and there are 12 of them, each for a different instrument.

Eight Songs for a Mad King by Peter Maxwell Davies is frickin' amazing...but it's also all one (30-minute) track on most CDs...

Prokofiev's "Suggestion Diabolique" is a damned tricky piano piece. Maybe not virtuosic per se, but still impressive as shite.
