Here are some photos of my mom's old kitchen and the new kitchen. Not the greatest photos but it's a small room and I don't have a wide angle lens on my camera! Either way, it used to be the original 1924 metal cabinets/sink, no counters, green plastic wainscoting and 3 layers of linoleum on the floor. I must be weird, but I actually like the before kitchen. You see the bottom types everywhere --but you rarely see a cool vintage kitchen in that condition.

Nice photo : ) --how old is she now? three?

Ugh, the old kitchen was HORRIBLE. There was no place to work (that table didn't suffice) and it was dimly lit and the floors unimaginably horrid. Trust me that the old one was not a good room to be in.

Sidonie is 2 1/2 - she'll be three in Nov! :-)
