I got my roommate assignment for Point today. :D She's super nice. And apparently, she signed up for a "lounge" room, 'cause she saw it last year and thought it was awesome. IT'S THREE FEET WIDER OMG. <3 Yay.

i'm in Pray-Sims Hall. (Pray is the guys wing, Sims is the girls, so technically speaking, i'm in Sims Hall)
anyway, my room mate's name is Katie. I talked to her today and she sounds really awesome. She's a freshman too, so we'll both be clueless together ^_^
anyway, i also e-mailed Dr. Miles about what to prepair for auditions and he said they are a lot more relaxed than the auditions to get into the department. He said they will want to her a couple of short pieces or segments from different pieces (just to show you're competent and havn't lost it all over the summer) and a few scales and sight reading. But he said not to worry about it cause it's not nearly as hard or nerve racking as the other audition. He also said not to stress out about it cause everyone usually does great and half the time, the seating in the orchestra is already decided before classes even start.
