I figure most of my entries now a days are mindless, it's time for something cerebral. If you don't feel like using your brain, don't read it.
I was rather bored today and I was feeling philosophical,so I decided to write down my thoughts. I was thinking and I came to the conclusion we are creatures of the past. Living for the future or even for the present is even as much of a taboo as living totally in the past. We can't live for the future because anything that has happened and anything that influences us has been in the past. Like by the time you read that last sentence, that's the past. So my question is, are we really living in the future or the present, or does everything that goes on around us take place in a totally different light than how we viewed it as, all wrapping up in an instant that we are too blinded by everything to see? Everything happens in the past, nothing can be definitely predicted. Not only can we not live in the future but living in the present is impossible as well. As soon as you state presence, it becomes the past.
Think of something that may have happened to you a year, maybe two years ago. Since that is the past, does it exist, sheerly it does exist in memory but to anyone else who doesn't share every part of your memory the thing you have may be so fond of is something that has no meaning to them. Meaning everything great that happens in the past, is nothing to someone.
Ok, sorry about that just needed to vent. Thanks for reading.
