The Gym and Me

I'm really getting frustrated with myself. I REALLY want to go to the gym and get back in the shape I was in a year ago. Did you ever get an MRI? I feel that the important thing here is that your back is hurting - if whatever you are doing is actually damaging your body in some way, that could be a very good reason to not feel like doing it.

I need to get back into shape too... Severely. I am going through a lot of issues right now, and I always have an excuse for not going to the gym, or running, or even taking a walk. And I think it's time I started to make some healthier changes to my life. I can't promise that I will do this 100%, but I am interested in trying. Sigh.

oh... something I didn't think about until just now... I know my gym has a special group that focuses on physical and occupational therapy.. that, along with a Doctor's recommendations should get you on a safe path back to being fit! I had to do that after I dislocated my hip. And it works.. they target the muscles, movements and areas that will strengthen your injured parts (your back) so that you will be able to ease into a more thorough workout. I know it sounds gay, but it did work for me. :) Good luck sweets!
