Practical Commitment
Scorpio Daily Horoscope
You may feel highly pragmatic today and driven to focus on the task at hand. Accomplishing your routine chores could feel more rewarding than usual because it grants you an opportunity to consider your future goals. You may be in an industrious mood and motivated to look for resolution when difficulties arise. Practical feelings could lead you to look upon your decisions with an eye toward the future. Before making any choices that may affect your life’s direction, you’ll likely want to consider the potential result of each option. If you decide to turn your attention toward achieving your goals, you may find that little distracts you. The promise of future rewards can be extremely rousing and encouraging today.
Adopting a practical worldview can aid you in accomplishing your goals. When you approach life with a practical outlook, you naturally tend to favor action rather than reaction or inaction. How your success and failure affects you emotionally is less important that what you can do about the situation at hand to further your progress. You approach each experience with an eye toward how it can help you accomplish your aims. Instead of spending your time fantasizing about what you could be doing, you take the practical approach and do what you can. When you think and act in practical ways today, you will easily retain your focus and move closer to achieving your goals.

There is much that I want to say about this, but a lot of it is all scrabbled scrambled up in my head. (I've been playing scrabble too much on Facebook.) I can't seem to straighten it out enough to get out thoughts that would make much sense to anyone other than myself... and maybe not even myself. But, what I can say is that I have stayed focused this morning on my research, and I think, as long as everything is correct, I have made a major breakthrough! (Well, major to me since I think I finished my problem.) Next step is to generalize it to fit all dimensions rather than just 2 dimensions, and then I'm done with the idea as a whole. Which probably means I'll just end up working on something else, but it will feel nice to have accomplished something. I'm not sure if it is enough for a paper or anything, but maybe Speegle can put it in one of his with other work similar to this line of thought? That would be pretty sweet.
So for today, I'm happy and feeling accomplished.
