[Arashi] Nino - MORE - 08/2016

I really liked this latest issue of Nino's It column and decided to translate it. Sometimes Nino can be very frank about his thoughts, especially towards things you would normally expect him to be blase and vague about. In this one, he talked about the hypothetical situation of somebody leaving Arashi. KAT-TUN was also mentioned ( Read more... )

Nino's interviews are always the most interesting...
I really love his honesty... it makes me love him even more.. and he's very professional that gains my respect even more... i love his thoughts about disbanding and leaving members... and just like him i dont have any interest too in Arashi that isnt consist of this five people...

Thank you for translating this very interesting interview! Nino on TV is witty and clever with words, and good at deflecting questions or things he doesn't want to deal with. He is often frank, and I'm glad he responded frankly here. He's very observant and seems to have a very down-to-earth view of his career and Arashi. Although I think his view is harsh for other groups, I'm glad he feels that way about Arashi. :-)
Thank you again for your translations. They really help me enjoy the guys even more. :-)

Thank you for translating this interview. T'was nice knowing Nino's thoughts about this matter that usually happens in a group and just knowing the fact that quitting Arashi never slipped his mind is good enough. I'm glad that from responsibility (as he said in a previous interview), it's now an obligation.. we'll see how his view would develop, I guess he just really can't say yet that it's love 'cos we all know how this man defines love :)

Thank you for this ((: I don't have much of a problem with the use of 'obligation' - however much we love our jobs/our colleagues, there are inevitably times when we lose passion for what we do (if we are honest). I think what Nino means is that obligation prevents him from even considering quitting during those times. Which seems pretty mature to me, though of course I would hope that he actually quit if his job was making him desperately unhappy haha.
