So, the amazing
ahmerst posted a fun looking meme. I am ever the follower and went for it. xD
Comment below if you wanna play, and I'll send you five questions. :3
1) What do you want to be?
A high school U.S. History teacher. I want to make students leave high school with a desire for knowledge and a love of country, goddamnit. (Passing grades are also acceptable.)
2) What is your daily schedule like?
5:00-Hit the snooze button.
5:30-Hit snooze again, but roll out of bed all the same. Eat bagel bites (they're a very well-rounded breakfast, totally circular.)
7:00-2:00-The penitentiary, that is to say Public School. 'Tis a silly place.
3:00-Start dinner, because for some reason I can't fathom, dinner must be served between 4 and 5. Never mind that I just ate a few hours ago or anything.
5:00-Fanfic reading. I dedicate a lot of time to this, it's very important business.
8:00-Watch anime with my cool beans mother. That or Dr. Who.
9:00 Homework!
11:00-Sleepy sleepy time.
3) What are you currently studying?
I've got AP psych, Euro, and English Lit, along with Applications in Bio-Chem and calc.
4) Why you so funny?
Appropriately placed emoticons.
5) What color is your hair?Brown, I'm too lazy to dye it. ^^;
So, since I'm posting something not fanfic related for once, I might as well take the opportunity to ramble, no?
Well, first off, my dear friend Ella just turned 18and brought us out to see the Blue Man Group.
Her dad surprised her with a limo ._. Best part of that wasn't even the limo, but the fact that when we got there, there was a line waiting outside of the theater, and they didn't know who was in the limo so they all assumed that it was someone important and started waving.
I can only imagine their disappointment.
In any case, the show was bjtnjgvtrofvrp awesome. Yes, keyboard mash does count as an adverb, thank you very much. It's a really unique sort of show, not really something you can quickly sum up and describe. I'd highly suggest it for anyone who enjoys interactive theater and synonyms for 'butt'.
Dinner was spent exchanging awesomely awkward texts with the France to my England, who sadly could not join us on our excursion. I think Ella's mom would've been horrified by our conversation if she did, honestly. xD
Well, all that's left to me now is to finish the research paper due Monday that I haven't actually started on. Luckily, it's been made tragically easy by the subject of said research! Thank you Miss Rand, for putting so much of your personal life into your books, it makes it very easy to make a case for people's backgrounds affecting their writing.
While we're on that subject, the Atlas Shrugged movie is coming out April 15th, and I'm looking forward to it so much! Hell, I know I just made like, half the people who read this hate me, but I'll admit it proudly--I loved the book. Not that I agree with it 100% (maybe more like, 60-70%), but I seriously could not put it down for ten straight days. It laid down in clear English ideas I'd always had swimming around in my head unorganized, and I really appreciate it for that. Eh, maybe I should've done a book review for it somewhere.
So yeah, shameless advertising for the movie. And the book, but mostly the movie. I imagine it'll be less intimidating.
Lastly, to leave you with a bit of wisdom courtesy of Jenny: "Texans ride their horses to work. They don't need car insurance."
