Okay this might be a silly question but I need help -
I have all these sayclub images (hundreds of them) that of course breeds the need to manipulate them into icons on occasion...how on earth do you do that without having it remain too "heavy" to upload onto lj?
Despite their being 100x100 some are over the 40kb limit...ughhhhhhhhh
Any ideas?

A lot of people take out frames, change timing on them, I personally play with my resolution settings on the image to make them work.

Im pretty graphic literate...but altering an animation like this one isnt something I have perfected yet...(thanks for the quick response btw :O)) - this change you do in animation shop itself?

I wish I could help you on that.. I dont use PSP or animation shop, I do all my graphics in Fireworks and Flash. You can delete frames, or optomize it so it has less colors, I think there is an animation wizard on animation shop.. or it could be called an export wizard?? Try in there.

I delete every other frame, usually if there are enough frames the graphic still looks the same and it's a lot less kb.

Hmmmmmmm thats actually a good idea...do you think deleting the last few frames would make a difference too?

I'm not sure, I guess it depends on the graphic itself. You could try it and see how it looks!
