I am so glad you finally posted this mix, and not just for other people but for my own selfish happiness since I never actually had it before this. I feel like it was ages ago when you played this for me, but it can't actually be that long ago? IDK IDK.
Anyway. Oh, oh, can I just comment on something I love about the art other than everything? I love that Miley is looking at Nick and he's just...oblivious, staring down and away from her. Did you mean to set it up that way? Because it's perfectly pointed and just, ugh, the symbolism breaks me.
I love what you did here and what you did with that Joe/Demi mix awhile back where the two halves are so different, the songs jump back and forth in a startling way instead of flowing into each other. Which is such a great way to illustrate distance and not fitting together anymore. And you can actually feel the divide get wider as the mix goes on, both of them feeling these parallel emotions but being so completely wrong about how the other person is feeling
( ... )
So apparently I'm downloading this right now? Because I stumbled upon it and ALL OF THESE FEELINGS came rushing back to me and it is two years ago when my love affair started. Couples I will never get over? No question.
Hilariously amazing timing on this comment, because I was just randomly looking at pictures of them and having feelings too, even though I am trying SO HARD to get over them. Why must they be so perfect? :( I hope you enjoy the mix!
