OKAY SO WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN COMMENTING ON THIS MIX GODDDDD. Like, so much of it is wrapped up in your fic but I'll try to save any comments on the fic, but it's also so much reality, or at least the reality that we've speculated based on tweets and their personalities. And what you've done (always do with any of your mixes) is very carefully select the exact right songs and vibe to match them, capture their essence: sweet, romantic, sexy, playful, soft. LIGHT AND LOVE YOU KNOW? That phrase really suits them, and this mix completely expresses it.

Roll To Me, adjkfhsks; yes, this is just. So fucking lighthearted and there are no expectations in it really, just stating the facts, that the relationship is bad and he's there for her and would really, really love to kiss her. "And I don't think I have ever seen a soul so in despair/So if you want to talk the night through/Guess who will be there" Ughhhh that's probably one of my favorite parts of this song, because I imagine their relationship started SO MUCH with just that, talking and ( ... )

CRASH INTO ME OH LET ME DIE NOW THIS SONG. THIS IS THE GREATEST SEX SONG IN THE HISTORY OF SEX SONGS IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND HOT AND RIGHT. sahdkfhkshs; I want to have better words I really do but this song is so much about feeling and the way the music is like rolling around in sheets and kissing and fucking and staring at the person and thinking they're the most beautiful thing you've ever seen and then laughing at yourself for being so cheesy. So. Um. Basically exactly the kind of sex they have. God. The lines are so RIGHT ("You wear nothing but you wear it so well/tied up and twisted the way I'd like to be/For you, for me, come crash into me">) but it's the actual music of the song that makes it as great as it is.

Just A Kiss is funny because like you said, it obviously is really about not having sex. But the way it reads here, and the more beautiful and meaningful interpretation to me anyway, is not about sex but about saying I love you. "I don't want to mess this thing up/I don't want to push too far." Not wanting to fuck it up ( ... )

omg I know right, such a perfect sex song, especially for them. Because it really is the music that makes it, soft and swelling in all the right spots and the way it feels to connect with someone, not just fuck them. The words are great, but the music and the low way it's sung really make it feel intimate and sensual, idfk.

I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT JUST A KISS, BUT I AM VERY HAPPY IT WORKED. My feelings on it are very much summed up in the part I have here, where I just imagine them in bed, or on the couch, kissing, and god, they both want to say "I love you," but they also don't want to move too fast and pressure the other person and make this become something really serious too soon, even though it accidentally already is. And the "never opened up to anyone" is SO Nick, like he hasn't truly since he was 16 years old, being in love again is kind of terrifying ( ... )

OH THANK YOU. Like I mentioned after the Taylor Swift concert, so much of the ~vibe thing is accidental, it just sort of happens, but I always know if a song is right or not based on the feeling of it all. It needs to sound a certain way at the end, even if I don't know what way that is at the beginning ( ... )

Haha, it's cool, not many people from the US know about her, I only do because of a friend. She's an Australian singer, has been huge there since like, 2003 (she's the bestselling artist in Australia or something like that), is 26, and recently - like announcing it April 1st - broke off her engagement with Brian McFadden from that British boy band Westlife. She was in the beatlab with Nick at the beginning of March, and now she's he's super pretty girlfriend who is making him walk around happy all the time! And thank you so much, enjoy :)

I had SUCH a crush on her when I was like, 16! She's so pretty. People have so been bitching about the age difference, which is laughable, since everyone always gushes over how mature and adult Nick is, but the second he dates an adult, he's a baby? Uh, sure.
