LASIK!

Jan 15, 2008 22:07

I booked an appointment in late January to get LASIK. The place does Wavefront, which seems to be the best available procedure at this time. Hopefully in a month, I'll be free of these glasses! WOOOO! WOOOO!!!!

So, uh, probably a bad time to mention this but... I prefer you with glasses.

He could always be super cool and get non prescription glasses.

heck yeah.

Or just wear his glasses lensless. It's the new black.

Don't tell anyone.... but that's what I do. I just find people think I'm so much more intellectual when I wear them.

Hmm, good luck. I'm always unsure if I want to get it or not. Be sure to tell me how freaky it is.

The bunch of people at work all thought it was fine. Took about 15 minutes to do in the actual appointment... most of which was sitting around. So, if you can get it, go for it.

I was going to do the Filutowski guy, but LasikPlus is on my insurance so I could get a pretty good discount.

What kind of coupons do you have?

Yeah, can you check? I'm getting a referral bonus from my coworker and get a 5% or 10% discount with my eye insurance so it should be a few hundred bux I'm saving already.

From what I heard about Filutowski, it's also very much like a farm but the surgery is handled by kind and loving and friendly professionals.
