I think by now you know the drill (well, most of you). Comment to this entry and I will interview you (five questions). Let me know if you want me to interview you as a mun of your pups or if you want it to be an ic interview. Thanks.
I'll be editing this post with my answers as I tag in because this meme always spreads like wildfire.
1. Mun: Why the Boy who lived?
I really hadn't seen him written in muse comms much. I'm not used to being intimidated by picking up a muse either. Normally I just through myself in with the confidence of 'oh I got this'. I was a bit scared of picking up Potter because the freaking series is named after him. I thought that there were pieces of him that didn't get explored in the books because she had so much to cover there just wasn't enough time. I'm drawn to beautifully complex and fucked up boys, and Potter is both. I guess it comes down to...someone had to do it? You people won't let me kill him so I doubt any of you would be quick to pick him up for me ;)
2. ...who's your favorite brother? Admit it!
Brian
3. If you're like brothers to Mr. Weasley, does that mean I'm in love with my niece?
No. We have a complex family and while I was raised close to Ron and Hermione, you were not. If you were in love with one of my kids we'd have problems.
4. If you could relive one day: either because it was the prefect day or because it was the saddest and you want to redo it: what day would it be?
The day I married Ginny.
5. Can we sell Judas to the circus a freak of nature? I'll split the profits and move to Ansterdam.
No, I'm a little fond of him. However, when you turn 17 I'll take you to Amsterdam. What's the worst your dad can do? Kill me?
1. Mun, because now I'm curious: is there a storyline that you haven't gotten the chance to write but want to?
I want to write something that will ventually strip away some of post hpsws Potter's cynicism and break down some of his walls. I want to write something that will make Bastian unable to quiet his heart. I want to write Pansy falling in love with someone who doesn't belong to someone else. I want to write Leo being a father. I want to write Raegan being able to say those three words.
I guess I'm always looking to write something that will push my characters to grow. Growth doesn't always mean it will get them to a better place, you know? Sometimes it's ugly when they lose their innocence or whatever, but it still pushes them to add more layers to who they are.
2. Mun: Favorite part of writing Harry Potter?
His interactions with all the people he connected too. For an orphan he has this huge extended family and they help to shape him into the man he becomes. It's amazing. I like exploring his mind too because you can't go through everything Harry has and not carry emotional baggage from it, yet through it all he somehow held on to that big ol' mooing heart of his. That is fascinating to me.
3. Harry (from teen!Molly Lu 'cause I don't think I'll be posting this on hers): Let's say I wanted to be a, oh I don't know, model or actress in the Muggle world... What would you say?
Good luck and write often. Plan on me visiting a lot.
4. AU!Harry: What's something you want to do as soon as the tournament is over, to celebrate?
Still be breathing? I want you and Dad to go on your honeymoon, and I'll take Cedric and Luna to Disney World. Then I want us all to meet up in Hawaii for a couple of weeks.
5. GrownHP!Harry: ...if Severus would have chosen to not return to Hogwarts, who do you think would have been a better Headmaster - Sirius or James?
Sirius, definitely. Dad would not enjoy the job as much as Sirius would, plus you have some hope of keeping Sirius from changing the house colors and redecorating the entire castle...
1. Asking the asker. What storyline would YOU want to pursue that hasn't happened yet?
I want to write something that will ventually strip away some of post hpsws Potter's cynicism and break down some of his walls. 2. Gideon: *locked* Maisie or Cap? Or am I totally off the mark? */locked*
*locked* Maisie's egg, Cap's carrying. And then I believe the second child they want it to be Cap completely. With the transformations they were afraid Maisie wouldn't be able to safely carry the baby to term. *locked*
3. Harry (from Fabian Arthur): What was the worst mischief any of us did through the years?... who did it?
You know, you all pulled really good pranks and no one slapped up a dark mark so I'm proud of all of you. One instance doesn't really stand out from the rest. Well...my birthday celebration for Severus wins, actually.
4. Mun: Five (literary) fictional characters you hate?
I don't really hate characters because I take something away from them. If something is written so flat I can't take anything from them then I stop reading early on.
5. Mun: If you could go, for a little while and no strings attached, to any place / any time, where and when would you want to go?
I'd love to go to Hawaii one day.
1. If you could go on a vacation anywhere, where would you go?
Ireland! Actually I want to take Ginny to Hawaii over the Summer. You and Hermione should come with us.
2. Something trivial that you'd like to go back in time and change.
Nothing. Everything we change in the past effects the present.
3. When did you realize you were love sick for my sister?
When I wanted to kill Dean for being with her.
4. mun- What's your favorite version of Harry you write? why?
Oh man it's a toss up between Au_muses Harry and Post epilogue Harry. Mostly because they are the 'what if's' that I get to explore. I find it fascinating.
5. mun- same question. Storyline you'd like to do but haven't? Any version.
For au_muses I want to see what he/Luna/Cedric are like post Hogwarts.
Otherwise I'd like to see him post grownhp6words lose some of his cynicism and let down some of his walls.
1. Sky's the limit, and with the promise of no snark, no lies and for any point in your life, what is one question you wanted to ask me?
Why?
2. Redo? Anything. What is it?
I would have taken the trophy alone instead of telling Cedric to take it with me.
3. Favorite Johnny Cash song?
I walk the line.
4. So, Obi Wan, would you rather be enlightened and miserable or ignorant and happy? You've been both, which do you want?
The latter.
5. ...every other question, the real questions shouldn't be spoken here. You know that, don't you?
Yes.
from Adam.
