Unlike the other Masked Rider from his world, Den-O, Ryotarou's transformation into Zeronos has a cost attached to it: his cards literally use up other peoples' memories of him. Meaning that if he uses one, the character chosen will forget completely and irrevocably Ryotarou

Hei is persistent! I have a question, though--would he completely forget Ryo, or would he have a sort of sense of deja vu upon meeting him again? And could his memories be regained over time or, say, if someone made a deal with the Twins?

I mean. Okay, let's see...
• Canon says no deja vu, unfortunately.
• The memories are literally erased, so they can't come back once they're gone.
• Annnd... if someone made a deal with the Twins, I think it would have to be to the tune of giving Hei Ryotarou's memories of their interactions (or something similar), since, like I said, Hei's memories will be gone. Does that make sense? :x
