i think this is kind of symptomatic of many people of our generation... we're taking hard classes really early in life to prepare for college to prepare for grad school/high-powered job/saving the world, specializing at a very early age (which means picking what you want to do with your life in like 6th grade), go go go go!!! and those who don't pick something and go at it full speed ahead end up taking 5-6 years to graduate from college or being labeled "unfocused" or "not driven" just because that's the way our world is set up. it's ridiculous. and will not make for a very satisfying life down the road. or a very thoughtful generation. which is what we need if we ARE going to "save the world." i predict a lot of quarter-life & mid-life crises for our generation - even more so than previous generations, as a result.

anyways, that's my little peeve. :) do what you wanna do, get stuff figured out. you're young. there is time enough to save the world later. i'm glad you're not gonna take this crap from this guy. :)
