Okay so I got home this morning and my dad says "Good news, you get to spend the day with us!" Of course this could only have meant one thing: heavy manual labor. Well your parents are pretty much right, unless you have a high pain threshold. Unless you stop taking those painkillers the day you get the surgery, which in most cases you probably do not want to do, the afteraffects will leave you a little screwy for a few days.

I couldn't drive for 3 or 4 days, by day 3 I was feeling better though

Yeah dude I was really sad when I found out we weren't going to be stoned off our asses at the same time. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until next Wednesday for the surgery. But maybe I'll just take painkillers and come to your house anyways and we can still watch Equilibrium, again. Well good luck with cutting and maiming, don't let the doctors touch your bathing suit area when they put you under.
