So.. I just found out that a psychology professor that I had died this morning. In a horrible way actually. It is very sad, however, I also have this strange feeling because I definitely did not like this professor but i obviously did not want him to die. That is the second time that some one I have known and had bad feelings towards has died very

My European History professor, a couple quarters back, didn't show up on time for the first class. It was one of those things where everyone was willing to wait for him, yet was getting restless, and I for one started thinking "Hey, maybe something happened, and we won't have class today... I would love to have the free time." After a little longer, another prof came in, and announced that Prof. Nelson would be unable to teach the class that quarter because he had had a heart attack or stroke or something just the day before - he was ok, but in the hospital - but that the new guy would be replacing him for that quarter at least.

Yeah, I definitely felt bad about that, even though the Prof. recovered fine, - especially since I had had him before and knew he was a very cool teacher. It's so weird how we casually think stuff like that, and yet not mean it in a way it might really turn out, and then are surprised when somthing DOES happen.

I hope you are doing ok, hun.... 'Tis an odd world we live in.
