Well it is illegal to not be in school unless you drop out but you have to sign papers for all that. Anyway, your almost 18 as it is...well summer time, but still. I believe your old enough to tell them if you want to live there or not, its not like your 12. I'll look into it more for you, i'm obsessive over this stuff since i always wanted to be a lawyer.
