Manga/Anime update
Well i'm in Japan so i guess it;s to be expected that i'd see some. there is also something really cool to be able to watch something while it's still a hot and still selling in all the UFO skill testers.
so her'e my list so far.....
Macross Plus - Enjoyed this more than i thought. pretty sure the use of a male lead that looks more feminine the Kenshin is meant to bring in the female fans, but then all the other males are jerks, so there is no slash potential (or at least none that interested me :P) and 1 of the 2 main females is the most annoying whore in all animedom. no really, every ep i was hoping she would die. horribly. in fire. then get hit by a truck. the truck would also be on fire.
Chi's Sweet Home- not new but full of loll cat moments that remind me of my own cat.
Vampire Knight- again not really new but it is still an ongoing manga series and there's a lot of merchandise in stores and it intrigued me. tho i had seen the manga back home i didn't realise that it was the same author of a MeruPuri which i had enjoyed. all and all it was a overly girly fluffy romance that i probably enjoyed a little bit more then i'd to admit…. :P
Queens Blade - D and D meets Hentai….possibly had a plot about fighting in tournament, but is just boobs. was't my choice that movie night :P
Kuroshitsuji- Very popular here at the moment. It's kinda Count Cain, but Cain has been replaced by Detective Conan and Riff has been replaced by Alucard from Hellsing. Oh and then you took like a bucket of acid before reading the comics. That's what watching Kuroshitsuji is like. The show also throws itself open to fangirls by none to subtly implying slash pairing all over the place, which only leaves me wondering when why the writer likes to hint at the obvious pairing between the Butler (Sebastian) and his "Lord" (Ceil), she wrote the as a 12 year old (or 14 in the amine)? Well anyway it sucked me in enough to keep me interested for 24 eps and it's my pick for the next big fan girl obsession when it get t's English release.…not sure if that's a good thing or not…although maybe girls will start cosplaying as english butlers and make tea at conventions? i think i'm getting my hopes up…
Also got I finally got my hands on some Crimson Spell manga then spent all night reading scanlations…te hehe hehehehe. it's REALLY gooooood, and yet another long blond haired Seme to remind me that i need to remember how much i love the strong and pretty types.:p It kinda gave me a "ice cold demon's tale" vibe, only you actually get sex action! yay…. some days later while staring at my "View Finder" image on the cover of a BEBOY mag i also made the realisation that Ayono Yamane also wrote that one…boy I am slow these days….@__@
