I noticed this in an old posting that you responded to on a common friend's LJ. You're into fantasy baseball, right? I have a league and I don't know who is returning yet. If I have extra space, would you like to join? I try to keep it to 12 teams in baseball.
I am making some changes this year because Yahoo has a lot of new options for baseball like head to head points leagues, which I want to give a try. it is a keeper league but I limit the number of keepers to 5, so that teams that sucked the year before have a chance to be competitive the next year. New teams can either start from scratch and draft last, and have first dibs at the best unsaved players or inherit an abandoned team and their keepers, and draft in their place. If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks for the invite, but I'm not interested in joining a keeper league that already has teams with keepers. Always seemed like keeper leagues would be hard to recruit new teams to me. I much prefer going into the league having all the teams equal. Keeper leagues could be cool if you had the same people returning every year, or at least if you got in the first year and had a shot at all the players, but coming in later not so much.

Not a matter of if I could do well or not, I'm just not interested in a league where I don't have a shot at 45-50 of the top 60 players. I want to have at least an equal shot at getting Hanley Ramirez as the other 11 teams haha.
I joined Alan's league this year...but am bummed that I will be on vacation and 99% sure I won't make the draft...hope Yahoo gets me some good players haha.
Now if when you see which teams aren't returning in your league, you can always try and twist my arm if say one of those teams has Hanley Ramirez and other quality keepers level players haha.
