Hey Michele! It's nice to hear it from your side, seeing as (if you read my latest post...) I'm on the other end. My one suggestion--get to know the other girls. Or guys. It's way easier for me to befriend guys, but that's me (and I do believe we are similar)! Try not spending every moment with Mike. My one roommate always has her bf over, and it gets very annoying. It's better when she goes over to his place, but then I have to imagine his roommates feel like us. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that things would be a lot better between me and my one roommate if she would take a little time to hang out with us--she used to all the time before she started dating. I realize that you were dating Mike before college, but if you want to make new friends you have to make time for them. I'm not saying break up with him. Not at all!! Just maybe take one day a week and eat dinner with your roommates. Get to know them. Or talk to someone you sit by in class that you don't know. It will help you not be so depressed. I promise ( ... )

lol. thanks. = ] And trust me, i've tried all that. just idk. doesn't seem to work. but idk. it's a little better now. they've just kinda learned to leave me be and all's well. and yeah, befriending guys=whole hell of a lot easier. lol.

Well at least you try. The roommate I was refering to just locks herself in her room with her bf and the only time I see her is when we make dinner (my other roommate and I make dinner, and then her and her bf make a different dinner....POINTLESS and ANNOYING) Buuut, if you tried and they still treat you like crap, I'd have to say it is just a girly/catty thing that they're doing.

I hope you ARE making SOME friends though. Going through life alone (or only a bf to turn to) isn't that fun. Trust me, I've been there (on the ALONE side of course...) and you don't want to end up like that. Even if you don't find friends over night, try getting to know others :) You are an awesome girl and I know that you are friendly and sweet. And always remember that God loves you more than anyone possibly can.
