When Tony asked him why it hadn’t shocked his delicate forties sensibilities, Steve had leveled a considering stare at him before saying, “I was a science experiment, Tony. Your dad made me a shield pretty much out of science fiction. Two days ago I was on a flying boat, met a god of legend and killed an alien race. Your super computer is useful, polite and I’m a quick study.”
Clever!Steve is my favorite Steve, especially with his pizza plan.
Also drugged Coulson is adorable.
Tony placed his finger to the side of his nose and Steve wondered how many ways the man knew to call ‘not it’.
Oh Tony.
The caretaking bit of this strikes just the right balance between practical and heartwarming. Love it.
You're the only person to comment on both parts, and after leaving such nice things on Part 2!
So, Steve, right? Like, he commandeered Hydra weapons and turned them against them when assaulting different bases. After being pumped full of chemicals inside a lab. After surviving during the Depression. I think the guy knows how to handle himself.
