Need a New Book to Read!

Aug 20, 2007 16:52

Here's the opportunity to get me into a new series/author! I just finished my third Prachet in a row, The Color of Magic. Think I'm ready for something different. Something, futuristic maybe?

Hmm, I've heard of Brite before. Might be worth looking into. Read the description, not so sure that's my style, but there might be others that are!

Hmm, that sounds promising as well as Automated Alice have you read that?

Not yet. I have it, but I love Noon's books so much that I put lots of space in between reading one and the next. Vurt is really where to start, though. I don't re-read books, but I get so hungry- sometimes I carry around Vurt and re-read bits of it.

I just posted a couple days ago about my current reading list... nothing futuristic though.

I remember looking it over. Will check it out again. Not Sci-Fi future, but I was thinking possibly Stiff, which I've heard is very good.

Land of Laughs by Jonathan Carroll or any of the Hap and Leonard series by Joe Lansdale :)

Thanks for the recommendation! I haven't had time to check them out yet. Hopefully this weekend!
