Ted would jump a turnstile for Barney. Barney on the other hand would probably (and more than likely has) broken international law to help Ted out. Then again, considering his job, I don't think Barney puts much stock in them anyway.
But that's ok, cause Ted is there for Moral Support!
It's a proven FACT that no matter how douchy he is being, Barney would NEVER abandon Ted. Which is good because he can be a real douche sometimes.
Another proven FACT is that Ted knows just how to push Barney's buttons.
And Barney can push them RIGHT BACK!
HE DOESN'T EVEN NEED TO BE NEAR TED TO DO IT!
Again, Ted has total respect for Barney's number. *fistbump*

Yes, I know the above vision was mocking him, but the point still stands.
Lets not forget, Barney did play a part in the events that would lead to events, that would play a part in eventually somehow having him meet the mother of his children.
This is a multiple point one. NOT ONLY is Ted who Barney uses his one phone call on, but Ted then drives with his friggin EX to NEW JERSEY to bail him out of jail!
Then he basically lies about the whole thing.
