okay i appear to be the 1st 2nd and third courses for mosquitos, not to mention breakfast and lunch - they seem to developed a liking for english blood

Go team you! Eat garlic, I gave it to my pony to keep the flies away. Think that those garlice tablets might work............Or horse repellent spray !!! How's you?
Ah, the big twin-engined ones? When you hear a conversation like this in the night:
"Shall we eat her here or take her home?" "Nah, if we take her home, the big ones'll get her."
- then it's time to get worried...
Proper repellent does work - certain chemicals screw up the mosquito's nervous system and it can't go into its programmed landing pattern (weird, but apparently true). So I'd try a different brand, preferably something toxic rather than a "natural herbal repellant" or some such. This is one of those situations where you reach for Agent Orange rather than oil of wintergreen.
hehehehe...yes, we like to say the mosquitos are "helicopter-sized"...be careful, they carry west nile virus!! repellent works, use it! but it has to have "DEET" in it...
