Jamie update

Jamie did come home Thursday. He still has some jaundice, so they sent a "bili bed" home with him so he could be "under the lights" to help break down the bilirubin. We are taking him back to the hospital in about 45 minutes to have them check him again and see if he still needs to use the bed.

Nick is so much more relaxed this time around than when he held Lauren for the first time. :)

He's just so adorable - and feeds my baby fever like mad!

Rhianne was very jaundiced at birth and they brought one of those Bili Blankets to our house for her. It's actually a pad that's attached to a machine...it goes up the back of their clothing (or you can lie them on it naked if you prefer. Much easier to deal with than the little bed, we thought...because you can still hold them while they're wearing it. Very cool invention!

Hopefully Jamie's bili levels are low enough VERY soon. :)

That is a wedding ring. Nick was the best man at my wedding to Chrissie, and we gave him the ring to remind him of how important he is to us.
