have you tried talking to the main person about how you feel? and how them making you feel left out is evident? and has that person noticed it too, or is that person one of the ones making you feel this way?

or maybe this is a test from god...seeing if you can work with different types of people...

all things happen for a reason.

I can completely relate to how you are feeling. I have been the youth group coordinator for just over 10 years now and it can get to be incredibly overwhelming. Our intentions are often felt unappreciated and our pride and love goes into why we do what we do.

Please don't give up. Please dig deep and find the strength to voice your hurt to those that hurt you.

When I get to the point where I want to walk away from it all I ask the question "why do I do this?" and my answer always makes my efforts worth every bit of aggrivation. I do what I do for the kids in the program and it is pleasing to God.

I am sorry that you are feeling left out. Please know you are in my prayers and I hope you find the strength to do what needs to be done.

Chin up buddy....things will get better...I have faith.

A dream from the toolbox

Generally the church gets rid of those who are genuinely called by God, and prefers those who are only interested in power and status within human organisations. I posted the above recently, and if you've not read it already, I think it is as much for you as for the person I originally wrote it for.

Briefly, in this age, God is outside the church, and the church doesn't want him. Therefore I prefer to be outside, where God can do as he pleases. This will not always be so, but for now it is better to be outside and follow God unfettered. Outside his power is not constrained by empty human agendas. It's a happier place.
