I'm well familiar with the "coming home to cluttered house" thing from both sides of the equation -- being the one coming home as well as picking Cat up from the airport. You get lots of brownie points for your efforts. They may be redeemed for real brownies, though I'm better at making chocolate chip cookies.

I feel like calling/writing but I don't want to make things any worse than they already are. One minor bit of news: I finally have an IM client that will let me stay connected in a way that is easily accessible.

Hello from Georgia, by the way. I'm back in Calhoun for a couple days for my cousin's wedding... in the same church where we were for her father's funeral just under six weeks ago.

Hi, just wanted to say how much I loved this post I've two kids (12 and 15) here in England and a lot of it really resonanted with me!

Really been enjoying your Satan Pit stories, too. There's a gorgeous reality about the way you write the Doctor/Rose relationship, and I think maybe it comes from seeing it from a slightly older (that is, non-teenage) life perspective? As a 47 year old fan and wannabee writer (haven't yet plucked up courage to post any fic) I really appreciate that.

Love the GWTW icon too, frankly my dear......
