Interesting how big Hallowe'en is over here now. More commercialised every year. Normally I'm pretty liberal on it but this year we've had the Archbishop of C complaining about serial killer masks going on sale to kids, and for once I'm in complete agreement on it.

As an ex-evangelical, with a few pagan leanings, I've always had some fairly conflicted feelings about it. Now we carve pumpkins, which is fun (this year we even grew one), and the kids trick or treat, but they aren't allowed to trick, just ask people a riddle and take a candy if they get it right.
