Poor Rose, all conflicted, worried about the TardisDoctor and the Doctor with her, and about Donna. And the Doctor left with her... this rings so true:
He's a selfish bastard. Both of him. The him that left her and the him that allowed himself to be left. But he wants her like he's never wanted anyone before, and now he can have her. There's a price, of course. There's always a price. And he knows they'll both continue to pay, because being human isn't going to be easy for him. He isn't used to being tied to a place or a time or a person and being accountable for all the things that come with loving someone. Having a mate. Already he feels a bit strangled at the thought.
I just bet it won't be easy for him. But he's got Rose. It's a start :)

I thought this was lovely - picked up on what I thought was the beauty of the writing in the episode. New!Ten is back to square one, emotionally, back to Nine in the wreckage of the Time War. Who's the only person who can save him and make him so much more?
Rose Marion Tyler. Original!Ten knows that more than anyone.
Yes he's given her a challenge through making the choice for her. But he knows that she will turn that challenge into the fantastic life he's always wanted for her.
I loved the way you focussed on the hand holding as they were both coming to terms with the situation too. Wonderful work.
I've friended you - as I loved a lot of your stuff in the past ('One Hundred Years or More' springs immediately to mind). Hope that's ok?
