Or rather, the Muslim faith vs. Christian faith

A little point: Islam doesn't say that Muhammed was a perfect human being. He was a Prophet -- the last of the Prophets --but he wasn't perfect.
But the standard Islamic teaching is that Jesus (the next-to-the-last-Prophet) WAS a perfect human being. Not the Son of God, but a perfect human being. Because he was so close to God, most of us can't really understand what he was saying. So God had to send one more Prophet; somebody who was imperfect, and therefore better able to speak to us dummies.
Just something to think about.
