Hey, here's something one of my friends posted that I remember you thought was cool. Here it is, in it's entirety.
'I've found that it's very difficult to actively hate someone. All our social conditioning screams against out against maintaining the rage. It wants to work it out, avoid the person or ignore the issue. It has been an interesting experiment for me, to say the least. I don't really have any enemies, nobody I would cross the street to avoid. I'm quite capable of turning the knives inward though and hating myself for a period of time. Maybe I'm just not wired the right way.
I see hate as part of a makeup of a healthy personality. Hate is just a malignant expression of passion, the negative of love. Everyone needs to be passionate at some point in their life. How they direct it is up to them.
