now i'm a full grown crank

Todd Rundgren is a fucking genius.

This is all I have to say for now, the statement will be expounded upon tomorrow. Oh yeah, and the Parallel Universe showtunes 'n' m-preg episode of Red Dwarf was just on. That is like. My favourite episode ever.

ETA:

So I inadvertantly left my webcam on for about five days and ended up with 120 hours worth of footage (yes I actually just had to use google to work out 24 x 5), mostly of the wall and my microwave and then occasionally my unwashed scowling visage gobbling ritz crackers and generally rocking out. About two days in I noticed, but wisely left it on to record such gems from my five days of sensory isolation.

DAY 1:

Hey pretty lady. My cheeky microwave getting in on the action. Note how I'm still wearing real clothes, truly the zenith of any depressive mood cycle.

DAY 2:

SWEET JESUS, GET THE KIDS IN THE MINIVAN.

DAY 3:

By this point I had formed my own tribal society, but was evidently already bored of it.

DAY 5:

Obviously I'm making a wanky face on purpose because it is a sign of my ruddy health and good humour, ready for contact with the outside world (read: drawing heavily metaphorical baked goods and seducing lonely perverts on Omegle at Oli's house)

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT.

Also the reason why I was flipping my shit over Todd Rundgren was because it makes me jizz every time I hear 8-bit samples in his music even though this was like 1974. I think he's fast becoming my current favourite person, his music is so clever! And it makes me really happy, all the synth and gonzo rock and millions of samples he uses are all perfectly layered and it's like he shot a psybeam into your ear. It literally makes me shit bricks. YES, LITERALLY. I LITERALLY DID THAT OKAY.
