Been away a while. Sometimes life gets in the way of itself. Just working and working and going mad, until school begins again anyway (on my birthday, no less). But I've been crafting like MAD! Hey, at least it's something to do

I remember that at the JC, I can't wait until I get that appointment again.3 more semesters to go.

it's the "this is your first quarter here: let's lull you into a false sense of security by letting you get what you need" philosophy. At least I'm not trying to get something like English 1 or another crazy GE class, for the rest of my life, so I'm feeling fairly confident. Now, at least. Wait til winter and we'll see.

Ye gods am I glad that my GE is all over with, forever. Fortunately, they don't make you repeat that rigamarole in grad school, instead you just have to retake all of your core classes from the BS degree at a higher level while doing research at the same time. Here at CSU Sacramento, the graduating seniors get first pick of classes, then it goes by units. It kinda sucked for the first few years because all of the good classes were filled up before I could get in, that's why I did all of the GE that nobody wanted first. Confidence does seem to drain away as the semester progresses...*G* Ah the student life, one day we will look back and say these were the days. (or maybe not...)
