RIP Big Boy

The Viking and I came home from shire meeting at 9:30.  Usually Big Boy is antsing to go outside once darkness falls, but he wasn't interested.  He was sprawled out on the couch.  The Viking went to pet him and he started meowing loudly, unusual for him.  I became concerned and got out wet food to entice him up.  Nope.  When I came back down to the

He was an older cat, with a hard life as a stray. We knew we wouldn't necessarily have him in our lives for very long. But we thought we'd have more time than this.
