You too? That line has been plaguing me ever since Mrs. Jackson said it in class; I ended up having to google the phrase so that I could read the actual poem associated with it. It was depressing as hell, but that one line has stuck with me, and I keep thinking, "Hell no. If the world's gotta go out with a whimper, I'll at least give it a couple good bangs before I'm gone."

And I object--I'm none too fond of Frank, but P&P was lovely. :)

Yeah, that was from The Hollow Men. The wiki actually said that line was a minor reference to the Fawkes plot, but hey, how reliable is Wikipedia. :P
