I post a lot about my Goulash when I make it on twitter, Originally based off a recipe I found online but I pretty much tore it apart and re-made it to include the stuff I find makes it better, I've made this a few times now since I like to think I perfected the recipe, so I'll post it here, why not?..somebody else might make it hogod!(if you do ( Read more... )

A cheap cut of meat meant for slow-cooker meals, This is not a slow-cooker recipe..I mean it isn't going to be in there for 8 hours or so and therefore that slow-cookers are left for.

Some people mistakenly buy it thinking that this sort of recipe will work (AKA only 2-3 hours cooking time) and end up finding the meat is tough and then complain :P

AKA 8 hours and a slow cooker? buy chuck, it will be nice and soft..this type of meal? nope, you will be eating beef that is like rocks in your mouth :>

Ah, thanks. :) Never heard of it, but then slow cookers are deplorably rare here (so far).

Any idea if you'll try the recipe?, I'd love somebody to road-test this in their own kitchen and see if it turns out just as good as it does in mine...then again..do you have tiny-taters where you are (or something similar)?
