So I am homeless at the moment. My mother and I were living in our car and on Friday the 19th we were in a car accident on the freeway. Mom is okay, kidlet might have whiplash, I have a sprained ankle and banged up knee, but the worst news was the car we were living in got totaled. I am so sorry to hear that, sweetie! But I'm glad no one was seriously hurt. I wish I was closer so I could help, but I seem to recall you're in a west-coast sort of direction (is that right?) And I hope you get better very, very soon!

Oh my god, that is so scary. I'm glad you guys are physically okay. I can't believe how unfair life is sometimes :(

Oh, that's basically my whole life at this point. But we did get the money for the van; we're just waiting for it to be released into my mom's account and trying to get a hotel room for two more days at the moment while we wait. So there is some fairness, I suppose.
